According to data from World’s Top Exports, Portuguese exports totalled US$82.4 billion in 2022. Goods being exported to Spain, France, Germany, the US and the UK accounted for just over 60% of all Portuguese exports.
So what are the top 10 Portuguese exports?
1. Vehicles – US$9.7 billion (11.8% of total Portuguese exports)
2. Mineral Fuels – US$7.0 billion (8.6% of total exports)
3. Electrical Machinery – US$6.6 billion (8.0% of total exports)
4. Machinery including Computers – US$4.8 billion (5.9% of total exports)
5. Plastics – US$4.3 billion (5.2% of total exports)
6. Paper & Paper Items – US$3.1 billion (3.7% of total exports)
7. Clothing – US$2.7 billion (3.3% of total exports)
8. Iron & Steel – US$2.6 billion (3.2% of total exports)
9. Furniture & Prefabricated Buildings – US$2.3 billion (2.8% of total exports)
10. Footwear – US$2.2 billion (2.6% of total exports)
