The following are the top 10 Portuguese imports in 2022. This top 10 accounts for over 60% of the total US$ value of all imports to Portugal.
1. Mineral Fuels – US$19.2 billion (16.7% of total Portuguese imports)
2. Electrical Machinery – US$11.0 billion (9.6% of total imports)
3. Vehicles – US$10.8 billion (9.4% of total imports)
4. Machinery including Computers – US$8.4 billion (7.3% of total imports)
5. Plastics – US$5.5 billion (4.8% of total imports)
6. Iron & Steel – US$4.3 billion (3.8% of total imports)
7. Pharmaceuticals – US$3.7 billion (3.3% of total imports)
8. Organic Chemicals – US$2.8 billion (2.4% of total imports)
9. Fish – US$2.4 billion (2.1% of total imports)
10. Chemical Goods – US$2.2 billion (1.9% of total imports)
